Some of the reforms which he declared years ago, include:-

1. To abandon the practice of building tombs at the graves of renowned people after their passing away, making sacrifices in their name and declaring them as sacred.

2. Circumcision - Islam detests spilling of even a drop of blood for whatsoever reason he argued that the practice of removal of foreskin (circumcision) of a male for him to be assigned as a Muslim is a mere influence of Satan. The belief that Holy Prophet had undergone circumcision is a myth. He reasoned that man has no right to make any changes in his anatomy which was given by Almighty unless unavoidable.

3. To deliver the Friday prayer sermon in the native language of the place since it is very essential for the people to understand and inculcate values from the sermon. He also explained that the Prophet sermonized in Arabic as it is was the language of the Arabian Peninsula.

4. He was the first person who asserted the fact that, ladies will also be subjected to questioning on the day of Judgment like men and hence it is their right and obligation to attend Friday prayer.

5. Geographically in a state like Kerala with mountains and rain clouds, it was not possible to sight the moon cycle though it was happening. Therefore, he scientifically explained, the need to start the Holy month of Ramadhan and Eid based on calculations rather than making it mandatory to sight the moon.

6. He believed that, man is a social being needs, world based modern education as much as he needs religious education to do good, Therefore, he supported modern education and specifically community has equal rights to education as men and women, proved the same by giving the best education possible to his own kids.

7. He advocated for religious harmony and reminded everyone that, humanity came before religion and avoid conflict between believers and non-believers.
